These outcomes alone do not make MGS the great school that it is, however they do open doors for our students and are testament to the hard work of all students and staff in our community.

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years.

  • Progress 8 Score = 0.2
  • The percentage of pupils achieving a grade 5 or above in GCSE English and maths = 89%
  • Attainment 8 score = 66.8
  • English Baccalaureate (EBacc) average point score (APS) = 6.16
  • The percentage of pupils that enter the EBacc = 83%
  • The percentage of pupils staying in education or going into employment after KS4 (pupil destinations) = 99%
